Dr. Brent Tabor has been in practice in Maryland since 1994. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from University of Maryland in 1988. He immediately began his medical training at the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine (PCPM) in Philadelphia. He graduated from PCPM with the Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 1992.
After graduating Dr. Tabor completed two years of residency training in podiatric medicine and surgery. He completed the Foot and Ankle Surgical Fellowship in the orthopedic department at the University of Maryland Hospital in 1994.
Following completion of residency, Dr. Tabor immediately began private practice in Maryland with offices located in Gaithersburg and Suitland. Dr. Tabor is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He enjoys all aspects of podiatric medicine and surgery but has a special interest in adult and pediatric foot reconstruction as well as diabetic wound care.
Dr. Tabor is active in the Maryland Podiatric Medical Association. He serves as President of the Executive Committee.
Dr. Tabor is married and has two sons. He is active in sports with his children. He has a passion for the sport of lacrosse, which he played through college and remains an avid supporter. He served as head coach of his sons' lacrosse team.
